PRIVATE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

Handwriting & Fine Motor

Handwriting doesn't have to be a daily battle!

If your child dreads writing, has messy or difficult-to-read handwriting, or struggles to keep up in the classroom, you're not alone. Many children find handwriting challenging—but with the right support, they can develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

As a specialist Children's Occupational Therapist, I provide fun, evidence-based handwriting and fine motor therapy that helps children become more confident, capable and independent writers.

Sessions take place in school and are individually tailored using detailed assessments, observations and engaging activities. Through games, creativity and practical strategies, children build the underlying skills that make handwriting easier, more fluent and less frustrating.

Student Writing Notes

Charlotte, Parent

'My 6-year-old son, who is autistic, has been working with Jo since September, and the difference it has made is incredible. He can now hold his pen correctly, and more importantly, he wants to draw and write! He recently drew us a family picture – something he never would have done before – and he’s so proud of himself. It’s amazing to see how much his confidence has grown, and how proud he feels of what he can do now.'
